Are direct entry candidates eligible to apply?

YES, the Nasarawa State University post UTME registration is for both UTME and Direct Entry candidates. Below are what is required from the direct entry candidate to be eligible to apply;

  • Candidates must have a minimum of Lower Credit in the National Diploma (ND) and Nasarawa State University Diploma
  • Must possess merit in Certificate of Education (NCE),
  • Eight points in IJMB
  • Candidates should possess at least five O’level credit passes in relevant subjects, not more than one sitting
  • Submit O’Level Results on JAMB Profile at JAMB-accredited centres.

Candidates who chooses tyo study Community Health, Environmental Health Science and Health Information Management at the Nasarawa State University must be licensed by their respective professional bodies, and evidence must be uploaded during POST UTME.

How much is the Nasarawa State University Post UTME Form?

Nasarawa State University, Keffi NSUK Post UTME form is N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only and should be paid through the ADMISSION PORTAL. Please note that the fee is non-refundable. You will, however, be required to pay appropriate bank charges.

How to register for Nasarawa State University Post UTME form

Online Screening Procedure:

  • Go to the Nasarawa State University official registration portal
  • Create an account and set up your profile
  • Choose the application type “2026/2027 POST-UTME application”
  • Input an active email and create a password
  • Candidates should verify their email address by OTP sent to them
  • Candidates should login with their email address and password
  • Enter your personal information where required
  • Direct entry candidates should upload their A’level details
  • Make payment through the available options
  • Upload your O’level result and a valid scratch card for result verification
  • Submit the application to proceed to the screening stage
  • Check your screening result after 24 hours of registration

What can jeopardise your admission?

  1. Both UTME and Direct Entry candidates must upload their O’level and A’level results on the JAMB profile at any accredited centre, failure to do so, will renders candidates ineligible for admission
  2. Candidates are advised to keep visiting the JAMB portal for their admission status. Admission MUST be accepted within 4 weeks of being admitted on the JAMB portal; failure to accept the admission will be rendered ineligible to be re-admitted.
  3. Candidate who does not participate in the online Post UTME screening will not be considered for admission.

Candidate that must change their programmes

Candidates who chose any of the listed courses are required to do change of course

Mass Communication has been unbundled. Candidates who initially selected Mass Communication MUST change their course to any of the following specific programmes:

  • Journalism and
  • Media Studies,
  • Broadcasting, or Public Relations

Nasarawa State University, Keffi DOES NOT offer Estate Management. Affected candidates are advised to effect a change of course to either

  • Building Technology
  • Architecture.

Candidates who applied for Agriculture MUST change to any of the specialised options available as follows:

  • Agricultural Economics and Extension
  • Animal Science
  • Agronomy
  • Aquaculture and Fisheries Management,
  • Forestry and Wildlife Management
